One of my favorite childhood memories is going to the Stumptown parade and festival, now known as Matthews Alive. We lived in Matthews from the time I was 7 until I was 15 so going back to the parade and festival reminds me of my childhood. Chad & I try to go to the parade and festival most years if we can.
